As we head into the last week of on-site activities, the program shifts gears, moving from the training room to worksites across Mt Hagen. The team will hit the road for on-site business visits and are excited to learn more about how these dynamic businesses manage their daily operations.
These visits will provide our skilled business volunteers with key ground-level insights to deliver tailored and effective support. When our volunteers return home, the journey doesn’t stop, it evolves. They will continue to walk alongside these participating businesses, providing structured online mentoring and coaching for the next six months to ensure long-term business resilience and growth.

As always, the success of this delivery comes down to a fantastic team effort. Our dedicated Skilled Business Professionals (volunteers), Chris and Jennifer, are bringing their experiences to the table.
Leading the way is Mouna Yangnmali from ABV, whose guidance ensures the training is tailored to the local context—bridging the gap and making complex business concepts deeply relatable and practical for our Mt Hagen small and medium size businesses.

The next step will take us from the training workshop to the field as we head into our final week, the program shifts gears.
